Lead Sources
Every lead carries a source — where it came from. Tracking it is what lets your reports tell you which channels actually win deals.
| Source | How leads come in |
|---|---|
| Manual | Added by hand in the CRM. |
| From Facebook/Instagram ads or lead forms (Meta Ads ingestion). | |
| Walk-in | In-person visits, logged on the spot. |
| Referral | Customer or partner referrals. |
| Website Form | Via the embeddable web form. |
| CSV Import | Bulk uploaded from a spreadsheet. |
| WhatsApp Bot | Automated capture via WhatsApp. |
| Telegram Bot | Automated capture via Telegram. |
| Other | Any source not listed above. |
Why source matters. Source is the backbone of your Leads by Source report. Tagging leads accurately is what turns “we get leads from everywhere” into “referrals convert at 3× our ads.”
Automatic vs. manual sources#
Some sources tag themselves: a web form submission is always “Website Form”, a CSV row is “CSV Import”, and bot captures are tagged accordingly. For manual entries and walk-ins, just pick the right source when you create the lead so your reports stay honest.
Availability of automated sources (Meta Ads, WhatsApp, Telegram) depends on your plan — see Plans & Pricing.
