Lead Stages
Your sales process isn't everyone's sales process. Rename the stages, add the ones you're missing, delete the ones you never use.
Salesvora seeds a starter set of stages based on your business type when you sign up. From Settings → Lead Stages an owner can reshape them at any time.
What you can change#
- Rename — “Interested” becomes “Site Visit Booked”, “Demo Scheduled”, whatever your team says out loud.
- Recolor — pick the badge color a stage shows in.
- Reorder — move stages up and down; the order is the column order on your Pipeline Board.
- Add — create a stage that matches a step you actually have.
- Delete — remove stages you never use (system stages are protected).
- Set the default — choose which stage brand-new leads land in.
Every stage needs a bucket#
When you create a stage you pick its semantic — one of five fixed buckets. The name is for your team; the bucket is what Salesvora reads:
| Bucket | Use it for |
|---|---|
| Open | Leads that have arrived but nobody has worked yet. |
| Engaged | Anything actively in progress — contacted, negotiating, awaiting a visit. |
| Won | Converted. Counts as revenue and triggers post-sale messaging. |
| Lost | Declined or gone quiet for good. |
| Junk | Spam, fake numbers and test entries. |
Junk keeps your numbers honest. Leads in a Junk stage are excluded from the pipeline, from conversion rates and from AI outreach — so a wave of spam enquiries can't wreck your reporting or waste messages.
Starting over#
1
Open Settings → Lead Stages
Owners only — team members can't change the shared pipeline.
2
Reset to a template
Use the reset option to replace all stages with the default set for your business type — handy if you've experimented your way into a mess.
Changing stages affects the whole team. Stages are shared across your organization. Renaming one updates it everywhere — the pipeline, every lead profile and your reports.
